I bought an X-Acto knives with blades # 11 When I opened the package of leaves that were covered with an oily liquid, of course. I wondered what it was, if I is clean or not.

Wipe is serious, but do not worry if the package was sealed. Almost every type of blade should be lubricated, and probably the only oil from the plant.
